FOUNTAIN VALLEY : Applicants Sought for City Board Seats
Applications are being accepted for openings on seven city commissions and committees for 1990.
Volunteers are needed for the Community Services Commission, Traffic Committee, Planning Commission, Housing and Community Development Advisory Board, Committee on Drug Abuse and the Advisory Committee for the Disabled.
Applications also are being taken for the Fountain Valley Improvement Authority, the commission which oversees city financial activities.
Applicants must be city residents and preferably have some background related to the particular committee or commission on which they would like to serve. City Council will choose new members.
Those interested should contact the city clerk’s office at (714) 965-4400. Deadline for applications is Friday.
