Mt. Laguna
The county coroner’s office said Wednesday that autopsies determined that four San Diegans found dead Monday in a camper on Mt. Laguna died of acute carbon monoxide asphyxiation.
Michael McCrea, Katherine Walsh, Conan Lemmer and Graham Rayner were camping in the Cleveland National Forest, off Sunrise Highway, over the New Year’s weekend.
The carbon monoxide fumes came from a gasoline engine that powered a generator on the 11-year-old motor home.
