Old Dominion Beats USC Women, 82-69

In a game that matched USC women’s basketball Coach Marianne Stanley’s new team against her former school, No. 22 Old Dominion beat the Trojans, 82-69, Wednesday night at USC.
Kelly Lyons scored 32 points for Old Dominion, where Stanley coached three years ago.
The Lady Monarchs (9-3) led, 40-32, at halftime. The closest the Trojans (2-5) came in the second half was 42-37 on Rosalind Hodge’s free throw with 17 minutes left.
Freshman forward Joni Easterly led USC with 17 points.
