CALIFORNIA IN BRIEF : FRESNO : Two Charged With Rustling Five Cows

Two men have been charged with the cattle rustling of five cows from the Dunlap area of Fresno County. Sheriff’s livestock investigators arrested Louis Marty Stanart, 30, of Madera, and Carl Sunny Adair, 41, of Squaw Valley. Investigators said the stolen cows, worth about $2,500 each, were branded with Stanart’s state-registered brand so they could be sold.
