A man who prosecutors say impersonated an attorney pleaded innocent Friday to eight felony charges.
Steven Kurt Dony, 30, is accused of false impersonation of Phoenix attorney Curtis Ullman, whose identity he allegedly used in his law office in San Diego.
Ullman works for a Phoenix law firm but is licensed to practice in California.
Dony is also charged with five counts of grand theft, auto theft, and making a false credit application.
San Diego Municipal Judge Timothy Tower set bail at $100,000, at the request of Deputy Dist. Atty. Lantz Lewis. A preliminary hearing was set for Jan. 26.
