POLL POOPERS: One problem with polls is that they depend on honest answers. . . . A post-election survey on Measure M--last fall’s unsuccessful transportation tax--found that 24% of the people who claimed to have voted actually didn’t. . . . “People notoriously over-represent their voting behavior,” said pollster Mark Baldassare, who did not work on this survey. “People are embarrassed about the fact that they don’t vote.”
