‘Santa Barbara’ Takes Honors: NBC’s “Santa Barbara” took top daytime honors Monday at the “6th Annual Soap Opera Awards,” winning for outstanding daytime serial, as well as outstanding actor (A. Martinez as Cruz Castillo), outstanding actress (Marcy Walker as Eden Castillo), outstanding story line (“Eden’s Rape”), outstanding super couple (A. Martinez and Marcy Walker), and three other awards for supporting cast members. Top prime-time winner was CBS’s “Knotts Landing.”
