Woman’s Face Slashed; Authorities Seek Husband
A man described by police as “distraught” allegedly slashed his wife’s forehead, cheeks and hands with a knife before pushing her out of a car at a Temple City intersection, authorities said Monday.
Arturo Ochoa, 29, of Huntington Park, is being sought for the weekend attack on his 25-year-old wife, Maria, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. James Kaylor.
“He was unemployed and distraught,” Kaylor said. “He accused her of having an affair . . . he disfigured her. It was brutal.”
