California Federal Bank said Edward E. Wendt was elected executive vice president, administration. Wendt joined California Federal in 1976 as head of the bank’s savings systems department. In 1987, he was elected to the position of senior vice president, responsible for information services. In 1989, he was given additional responsibilities, including loan services, administrative services and property management. He continues to manage these functions under his new title.
