THE SIDELINES : U.S. Soccer Team Preps for Cup

The U.S. soccer team said today that it would play Bermuda, Hungary, Finland and either East Germany or Poland as part of its preparation for the World Cup.

Sunil Gulati, chairman of the international games committee of the U.S. Soccer Federation, said the U.S. team would play at Bermuda on Feb. 16 and would play Finland on March 10 at Tampa, Fla. The other games will be played later in March.
