Los Angelization of Central Coast

Share

I’m tired of reading about people complaining about the influx of people from Los Angeles or California or wherever moving to their areas and ruining their life styles. Los Angeles is not disappearing because people are moving to Seattle or San Luis Obispo--in fact, L.A. is growing too fast, as well.

When are you going to write about the real reason for the problems: global overpopulation? How do people expect to maintain open spaces and a high quality of life when another billion or so people will be added to the world population by the end of this century? Overpopulation is the No. 1 problem on Earth today. It is the underlying cause of all our environmental deterioration. When will our leaders address this problem? When will The Times start writing about it?
