FULLERTON : Coyote Hills Future Is Workshop Topic
The City Council and two of its commissions will hold a workshop at 7 p.m. tonight to consider the future development of the Coyote Hills area, the largest piece of undeveloped land in Fullerton.
The council will meet with members of the Planning Commission and the Redevelopment Design Review Committee in room B of the library at 353 W. Commonwealth Ave., next to City Hall. The meeting is open to the public.
Undeveloped land in the Coyote Hills, which is in the north side of the city, is used mostly for oil and gas pumping. The land is expected to be developed more extensively as more of the wells run dry.
In addition to development, the members will discuss an update of the general plan and consider the role of the Redevelopment Design Review Committee, which makes recommendations to the Planning Commission on the physical design of building projects inside community-improvement zones.
