3 Held in String of Home Improvement Store Holdups

HAWTHORNE — Three men suspected of robbing 20 home improvement stores, including two in Orange County, were arrested Monday after police raided their hide-out.
Renardo Caddell, 25, of Inglewood, Donald Perkins, 28, of Bellflower and Reginald Ware, 22, of Los Angeles are suspected of committing a yearlong string of holdups. They were being held without bail at Hawthorne City Jail on suspicion of armed robbery.
Sheriff’s deputies and Hawthorne and El Segundo police officers raided a Fontana house believed to be the men’s hide-out and found evidence linking the suspects to the crimes, authorities said.
