MCA Inc.: The Universal City entertainment firm said 1989 net income rose 16% to a record $191.8 million while revenue jumped 17% to a record $3.382 billion. Results include revenue of $100 million and a contribution to net income of $63 million from the previously announced sale of the company’s investment in Discovision Associates.
