A Michigan man wanted on rape and attempted-murder charges in that state has been arrested in San Diego, ending a six-month search,, the FBI said Friday.

David Neuman, 28, who had been sought by the FBI since he failed to show up for trial last summer, was arrested in Mission Beach on Thursday night, agents said.

Neuman faces charges stemming from an incident in July in which he and his father allegedly raped a woman at gunpoint, then shot at the victim’s brother when the brother attempted to help her. Neuman’s father was convicted of the charges, according to the FBI.
