Bethlehem Steel Corp.: The Bethlehem, Pa., company said net income for 1989 totaled $245.7 million, down 39% from 1988. Revenue fell 4% to $5.3 billion. The steelmaker blamed higher input costs, a blast furnace outage at its Baltimore plant and work stoppages at company coal mines for the decline.
