What went wrong and what went right describes the theme for the first weekend of the February ratings sweeps.

On “60 Minutes” Sunday at 7 p.m. (2)(8), Mike Wallace will update his 1986 story on the McMartin Pre-School molestation trial. In the wake of the recent jury verdict to acquit the defendants on 52 counts, and the district attorney’s decision to retry Raymond Buckey on 13 counts, “60 Minutes” examines how this emotionally charged case got so out of control. The program will also feature segments on the AIDS-stricken family of actor Paul Michael Glaser and charges that Retin A was put on the market without adequate testing.

Two celebrations of longevity in the entertainment business are also on tap Sunday. “The Magical World of Disney,” 7 p.m. (4) (36)(39), celebrates the 35th anniversary of the openning of Disneyland with host Tony Danza and guest appearances by the cast of “Cheers” and former President Ronald Reagan.

Meanwhile, “Sammy Davis Jr.’s 60th Anniversary Celebration” begins at 8:30 p.m. (7)(3)(10)(42). Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Clint Eastwood, Bill Cosby, Eddie Murphy and many others turn up to honor the versatile entertainer for his six decades of singing, dancing and acting.
