WORLD IN BRIEF : ISRAEL : Palestinian Killed by Troops in Gaza

Israeli troops shot a teen-age Palestinian protester to death and wounded 16 in the second day of street battles in the occupied Gaza Strip. Ayman Zakout, 17, was killed during a clash with stone throwers in Rafah, residents said. They said a bullet hit him in the back and pierced his heart. Israeli troops firing to disperse stone throwers in the Gaza Strip wounded 16 people, including three under the age of 12, hospital officials said. Eleven of the wounded were from the town of Rafah.
