$140,000 in Fellowships for Women at Caltech
Caltech has won a $144,000 grant for three, two-year Clare Booth Luce Graduate Fellowships for female students.
The grants will be used by women pursuing Ph.D. degrees in physics, mathematics and astronomy; chemistry and chemical engineering; engineering and applied science, or geological and planetary sciences.
They are provided by the Clare Boothe Luce Fund, which was created to encourage women to enter, study, graduate and teach in scientific and technological fields in which women are under-represented.
