Bald Men
Thank goodness for bald men, for we are the peacemakers! Three bald statesmen easily come to mind for their peace initiatives in recent times: the late Anwar Sadat of Egypt, Mikhail Gorbachev of the Soviet Union, and now Frederik de Klerk of South Africa.
I am sure other baldies can be added to this list, but not many of us can be counted among the aggressors and tyrants to which the peoples of the world have been subject.
What is it about shiny-headed men that leads them to offer peace initiatives and liberating opportunities? I believe that the answer lies in our manifest manhood. All who see us are immediately aware of the sufficiency of our testosterone levels. Unlike the hirsute male, our manhood need not be demonstrated through repression and conquest.
Hopefully, national leaders with hair will come to realize that domination and war are inadequate compensation for their lack of baldness.
