Pupils to Show Plants at Fair
Preschoolers at Valinda School in La Puente and disabled children at Roosevelt School in Pasadena are among the children who have grown strawberries as part of the Agricultural Commodities of California exhibit at the Great Western Fair in Industry.
The children will display their plants during the fair from April 4-8 at 16040 Amar Road. The fair is open from 3 to 11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 1 to 11 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $4.
