‘Cheers’ on Opening Night of Television Festival

Kirstie Alley, Ted Danson, and Shelley Long will discuss “Cheers” on the opening night of the Museum of Broadcasting’s 7th annual Television Festival in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Leo S. Bing Theater on March 7. They will answer audience questions after a tape of the show’s highlights is screened starting at 8 p.m.
Other shows to be screened and to feature cast and crew members’ comments during the festival include “Designing Women”on March 10, “The Young and the Restless” on March 15, and “CNN,” which includes an appearance by Ted Turner, on March 21. The festival runs through March 24.
