Resorts Gets Two-Year License Renewal: Resorts International Inc. received a two-year casino license extension, but the gaming company was ordered to report monthly on its troubled finances. The New Jersey Casino Control Commission said it granted the license renewal to the company, the parent of Merv Griffin’s Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, despite its bankruptcy proceedings.
