Greg Minton, who had filed for free agency after the Angels declined to go to arbitration with him, agreed to a one-year contract with the club Wednesday.
Minton’s contract includes a base salary of $850,000, with incentive clauses worth as much as $100,000.
Minton, 38, was 4-3 with eight saves and a 2.20 earned-run average in 62 relief appearances last season. He had filed for arbitration at $1,150,000 and the Angels had offered $780,000. He earned $630,000 in salary last season and $100,000 in bonuses.
