Luncheon to Honor Adult School Official
University-Palisades Community Adult School Assistant Principal Sidney Yuji Yamazaki will be honored at a luncheon Feb. 27 by the West Los Angeles Lions Club for his more than 30 years of community service. The luncheon will be at noon at the gymnasium of Stoner Recreation Center, 1835 Stoner Ave., West Los Angeles. The cost of the luncheon is $15.
Yamazaki, who began his career in education as a teacher at Madison Junior High School in 1960, is a past president of the Los Angeles chapter of the Japanese American Citizen League and a past president of the West Los Angeles Community Coordinating Council.
