16-Year-Old Pianist Wins: Anders Martinson, a 16-year-old from Santa Monica, took first prize in the Pasadena Symphony’s Young Artist Competition for pianists. The student of Crossroads School for the Arts and Sciences won $2,000 and the chance to perform twice with the Pasadena Symphony in concerts scheduled for March 23 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
