BREA : 2 Streets to Be Used for Hauling Project
Large tractor-trailers will be using Birch Street and Brea Boulevard to carry dirt and rocks to a construction project until the end of March.
Trucks will use the streets from Monday through Friday during the day, traveling west on Birch and south on Brea to the southwest corner of Bastanchury Road, where the rubble is being used for a development there, according to Assistant City Engineer John Hogan.
A street sweeper will operate continuously to keep the streets clean and dust to a minimum.
The material comes from the Laurel Creek project at Birch and Ash Street and the old high school site on Birch.
Residents with questions or comments about the operation should contact Hogan at (714) 990-7657.
