Atlanta Falcons linebacker Aundray Bruce was arrested late Thursday and charged with pointing a pellet gun at a pizza deliveryman, Gwinnett County police reported.

The deliveryman, 28-year-old Mike Tilley, said Bruce pulled the gun on him at the Duluth apartment of teammate Marcus Cotton after Cotton told Tilley they did not have the cash to pay for pizzas they had ordered.

Tilley swore out a warrant in Gwinnett Magistrate’s Court, and Bruce was arrested around midnight on the misdemeanor charge of pointing a pistol at another person, police said. He was released on $1,050 bond about an hour later.

Tilley, in his statement to police, said that when he arrived with the pizzas, Cotton asked him to put them on credit and he refused.

Bruce, the first player chosen in the 1988 NFL draft, was recently named in two paternity suits.
