Round 1 applications must be received by March 19. Round 2 applications are due May 14. All requests of $1,001--$1,500 must be matched by at least 50% cash sources, and 50% can be an in-kind match. No matching funds are required for grants of up to $1,000.

As Tom Corcoran, executive director of the alliance said: “Last year’s program brought about four dance programs, but we had much less funding available. This year, we’ll probably be able to fund 10 or more.”

The alliance welcomes requests from artists in all disciplines of dance. Applications can be obtained by calling the dance alliance at 692-4350, or writing it at P.O. Box 80246, San Diego 92138-0246.
