Furon Reports Strong 4th-Quarter Results: Furon Co., the Laguna Niguel-based manufacturer of seals and plastic products, said Wednesday it expects to report stronger fourth quarter revenues and net income. The announcment spurred a 11.5% jump in its stock price. The company said it expects to report net income of between $3.4 million and $3.7 million, contrasted with $1.8 million in the corresponding quarter a year earlier. Revenue was up 21% to $80 million from $66 million. Furon’s stock climbed $1.375 to close at $13.375 in over-the-counter trading.
