Jim Dent shot a six-under-par 66 to finish off a three-stroke victory Sunday in the windswept Vantage at The Dominion Senior PGA tournament at San Antonio.

Dent’s three-round total of 11-under-par 205 earned him $45,000 from a $300,000 purse and pushed him over the $1-million mark in PGA Senior winnings. Dent became the 36th senior player to reach the seven-figure mark.

“When you’re in the hunt and the wind is blowing, anything in the 60s is going to be good,” Dent said. “The wind was very tricky today.”

Harold Henning closed with a 70 at the 6,814-yard course to finish second at 208.

Ken Still, the leader after each of the first two rounds, shot 75 to finish seven strokes off the pace.

Colleen Walker held on despite a double-bogey and two bogeys on the back side to shoot a par-72 for a five-stroke victory in a $300,000 LPGA tournament at Tucson, Ariz.

Walker finished at 12-under-par 276 to earn the $45,000 first prize.

Pat Bradley birdied the last four holes for a 66 to finish at 281, tied for second place with Betsy King (71), Kate Rogerson (67) and Heather Drew (71).

Bradley needed to win the tournament to become the LPGA’s first $3 million winner. The 38-year-old enters next week’s Phoenix event needing $15,232 to reach the mark.
