Raise Me Quick Debuts With a Sportsman’s Win

CHICAGO —
Raise Me Quick outgunned Wise Lt. and Excellar’s Niece in the final 100 yards to win Tuesday’s $23,625 Magnetic Type Purse at Sportsman’s Park.
Wise Lt. finished second, three-quarters of a length behind the winners and the same margin ahead of Excellar’s Niece.
Raise Me Quick, making her 1990 debut, paid $17.40, $9 and $9.50.
