Plastic Clip Holds Cocktail Glass in Place

Here’s Cocktail Caddy to rescue those who wander cocktail parties and buffets fumbling a plate in one hand and a drink in the other. The device is a strong plastic clip that fits over the plate’s edge and holds a stemmed glass.

It’s easy to remove the glass when you want, and, according to its manufacturer, Cocktail Caddy fits “every stem glass.” The clip doesn’t slip off the plate and it can be washed and reused.

Cocktail Caddy is available from Kazco Inc., P.O. Box 392, Linden, N.J. 07036; phone, (201) 925-7255. One dozen cost $10.75, including shipping and handling.

Getting Into the Swing of Golf Game

Working on your golf game? Check out Swing-Ryte, a training device with weights that seeks to improve your swing. It’s small enough to practice with in a home or office.

Swing-Ryte is a 2-foot steel rod with a rubber grip that comes with 1 1/4-pound and 2 1/2-pound weights.

When Swing-Ryte is held with the weight turned away from the body, it teaches golfers to turn their hands over through the impact area (the area before and after contact with the ball), its manufacturer says. That will help eliminate slicing the ball. To eliminate a hook, golfers turn the weight so it points down at their feet.
