National City
The driver who struck and killed a pregnant woman and her 5-year-old daughter in National City last year was sentenced Wednesday to seven years, four months in state prison.
Pablo Cabrera, 22, of San Diego, was also fined $2,000 by Superior Court Judge William Mudd.
Cabrera pleaded no contest last December to two counts of vehicular manslaughter in the Sept. 28 deaths of Martha Zamudio, 25, and her daughter, Lillian, as they crossed an intersection.
