SIMI VALLEY : 2 Men Arrested in Drive-By Shooting
Two men have been charged with attempted murder in a gang-related shooting in December, authorities said.
A dispute between two rival Filipino gangs led to the drive-by shooting at 3813 Merrill Court the night of Dec. 23, said Simi Valley Police Sgt. Arch Morgan.
The bullets narrowly missed three residents inside the house. No one was injured.
Arrested were Clint Gellekanao, 22, of Pico Rivera and Franley Jardeleza, 27, of Pacoima.
Handguns were seized in both homes, including a 9-millimeter handgun believed to be related to the shooting, Morgan said.
Both men were booked Wednesday on charges of attempted murder and shooting at an occupied dwelling, Morgan said.
