It took 52 weeks--exactly a year--but Bonnie Raitt’s “Nick of Time” album finally makes it to No. 1 on the Billboard charts this week. It’s not only Raitt’s first No. 1 album, but it’s Capitol Records’ first chart-topper in nearly five years, since Heart’s self-titled album hit No. 1 in December 1985. . . . World Party’s long-overdue second album, “Goodbye Junior,” is due out April 17 on Chrysalis Records. The first single will be “Put the Message in the Box.” . . . Fleetwood Mac’s new album, “Behind the Mask,” is due next week, featuring such tunes as “Save Me,” “Love is Dangerous” and “Affairs of the Heart.”
