Roller Coaster Collision Injures 40 Riders at Park

KANSAS CITY —
About 40 riders suffered minor injuries when one roller coaster train ran into the rear of another Saturday, officials of the Worlds of Fun amusement park said.
The most serious injury reported by medical personnel at the park was a broken nose. Adults and children on the ride also suffered cuts and facial bruises, and some complained of whiplash.
