NATION : Pop Singer Sedaka in Hospital

DANBURY, Conn. —
Pop singer-songwriter Neil Sedaka was in good condition today in Danbury Hospital, where he is considering surgery to relieve inflammation of the colon, a spokesman said.
Sedaka, 51, who lives in the affluent New York City suburb of Westport, was admitted Tuesday for treatment of diverticulitis, hospital spokesman John Morgan said. Doctors were not sure when Sedaka might be released, Morgan said.
