I thoroughly enjoyed NBC’s production of “The Phantom of the Opera.” The performances of Burt Lancaster and Charles Dance--as well as newcomer Teri Polo--were exquisite and quite engaging. It was such a pleasure to finally see something so dramatic and engrossing for a change instead of the usual fluff we must endure--and on regular TV too!
