His Initial Reaction Not Exactly Positive
As a longtime Boston-Milwaukee-Atlanta Braves fan, I would be the first to admit that America’s team has been painful to watch in recent years. However, I wonder if Mike Downer could extend his pithy observations to cover televised professional football?
Most cable subscribers have the option of watching the Cubs, Mets, White Sox or ESPN telecasts instead of the Braves during the summer season, but come fall Sunday afternoons, our only option is to take in another exciting Rams-Falcons matchup. I’m sure thousands of fans will join me in saying, “Go Raiders, and take the Rams with you!”
