Freeway Repairs Announced
Caltrans advises motorists that it plans the following freeway work in the Southeast / Long Beach area this week:
Long Beach Freeway (710)
Bell: Northbound lane No. 4, Firestone Boulevard to Florence Avenue; Monday, 9 to 11:30 a.m.; sign cleaning.
Commerce: Northbound Washington Boulevard off-ramp; Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; guard rail repair.
South Gate: Southbound Firestone Boulevard on-ramp; Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; stenciling.
Artesia Freeway (91)
Cerritos: Westbound Bloomfield Avenue on-ramp; Monday and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; ditch cleaning.
Compton: Eastbound Santa Fe Avenue off-ramp; Tuesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; sign repair.
Long Beach: Eastbound Atlantic Avenue on-ramp; Tuesday, 9 to 10 a.m.; sign repair.
San Gabriel River Freeway (605)
Lakewood: Southbound / eastbound Del Amo Boulevard on-ramp; Wednesday, noon to 1 p.m.; stenciling.
Long Beach: Southbound Spring Street off-ramp; Thursday, 9 to 11 a.m.; stenciling.
Norwalk: Eastbound Imperial Highway on-ramp; closed nine months beginning Monday or Tuesday. Motorists traveling eastbound on Imperial will be detoured north on Hoxie Avenue to the Firestone Boulevard on-ramp; Century Freeway construction.
Santa Fe Springs: Northbound Telegraph Road on-ramp; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; tree removal. Southbound Telegraph Road off-ramp; Wednesday, 9 to 11 a.m.; stenciling.
Whittier: Southbound Peck Road circle on-ramp; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; landscaping.
Santa Ana Freeway (5)
Downey: Northbound Paramount Boulevard off-ramp; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; landscaping.
La Mirada: Northbound Lane No. 4, Artesia Boulevard to Rosecrans Avenue; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; landscaping.
Santa Fe Springs: Northbound Valley View off-ramp and on-ramp; Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; ditch cleaning.
