LOCAL : Hit-Run Victim’s Identity Sought
Los Angeles police are attempting to identify a man who was fatally injured in a Reseda intersection by a hit-and-run vehicle.
Officer Mark Warschaw said the man was found in the crosswalk at Reseda Boulevard and Strathern Street about 10:30 a.m. Monday. He had suffered massive injuries after apparently being hit by a car. He died Monday afternoon at Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
Police have found no witnesses to the hit-run accident. The victim carried no identification. He was described as 60 to 65 years old, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing about 135 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be of Latino, Middle Eastern or Filipino descent.
