Garbo Cremated Secretly: Legendary film star Greta Garbo’s body has been cremated secretly according to her wish to remain as private in death as she was in life, it was disclosed Tuesday. A spokesman for Frank E. Campbell’s Funeral Chapel in New York said the cremation had taken place at an undisclosed time and place at the order of Garbo’s family. The city Medical Examiner’s office confirmed that it had given permission for the cremation on Monday.
