SIDELINES : Pires Named Line Coach

SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
Glenn Pires, Syracuse’s assistant recruiting coordinator for football, has been named the Orangemen’s new defensive line coach.
Pires, 31, replaces Clarence Brooks, who left for the University of Arizona just before the start of spring football practice last month.
