Dance Gallery Gets $1 Million: The Dance Gallery Endowment has received a $1-million contribution from Bunker Hill Associates, developers of the California Plaza. Also announced at a Thursday press conference was agreement between the Community Redevelopment Agency and Bunker Hill Assoicates for a bond issue to cover remaining construction costs of the $20-million-plus downtown facility, which will be located at 4th and Olive streets. The Dance Gallery, a 100,000-square-foot complex expressly designed for dance performance and education, has been eight years on the drawing boards.
