Chrysler, Ford Recall Some Models: Chrysler Corp. agreed to recall about 72,000 vehicles from the 1983 model year that fail to meet federal emission standards, the Environmental Protection Agency announced. Affected models are the 2.2-liter Plymouth Horizon, Turismo and Reliant; the Dodge Omni, Charger, Aries, 600ES and 400; and Chrysler LeBaron. Only vehicles with manual transmissions are involved, and California vehicles are excluded. Ford Motor Co. issued a voluntary recall of 268 Korean-made 1990 Festivas, citing faulty circuit boards that could keep some seat belt, engine oil pressure and battery-charging warning lights from working properly in cold temperatures.
