The Pacific 10 Conference suspended USC outfielder John Jackson and Arizona State pitcher Kip Yaughn for the their roles in last Saturday’s bench-clearing brawl at Tempe, Ariz.
Jackson and Yaughn will miss Monday’s game between the teams at USC. Prime Ticket will televise that game on a delayed basis at 5 p.m.
Ten players, including Jackson and Yaughn, and USC Coach Mike Gillespie and Arizona State Coach Jim Brock have already served one-game suspensions mandated by NCAA rules as a result of last Saturday’s incident.
The fight occurred in the sixth inning of a game won by Arizona State, when Yaughn threw a pitch behind Jackson’s head after Jackson called time out while Yaughn was beginning his windup.
