Kings Should Do It for Themselves

As a Kings fan, I added to the roar of the Forum crowd, and gleefully accepted Saturday's victory over Calgary. However, after later reviewing a tape of the game, I must also feel sorry that Calgary really lost due to the incompetent refereeing of Denis Morel, who negated their obvious game-winning goal.

In addition, of all the local television sportscasters, only Keith Olbermann and Jim Hill saw fit to mention more than the game's score. They commented on the judgment of the referee, and how he and not the athletes determined Calgary's hopes. I applaud them for providing accurate commentary and not just the scores.
