FULLERTON — Wynn Oil Co., maker of petrochemical products for cars and industrial machinery, said Monday that it is moving its corporate office--including 70 employees--from here to Azusa to be closer to its manufacturing and research and development operations. Since 1973, the company’s marketing, sales, finance and general administrative staff had been located in Fullerton, where Wynn Oil shared a building with its corporate parent, Wynn’s International Inc.
Wynn’s International, engaged in the automotive parts, accessories and petrochemicals specialties businesses, will remain in Fullerton.
Wynn Oil last year contributed $79 million of the parent firm’s $284 million in sales, said Eradio T. Jiminez, Wynn Oil’s president and chief executive officer.
Jiminez said Wynn Oil has moved its international corporate headquarters to a newly constructed 25,000-square-foot building in Azusa.
In another attempt to improve operating efficiency, Jiminez said Wynn Oil has combined into a single division sales and marketing personnel previously organized into four specialized market segments. He said the new marketing division is headed by James R. Grebe.
