More Firms Join Infant Pillow Recall: Five more manufacturers of a type of infant pillow linked to the suffocation deaths of 19 children joined a nationwide recall of the items, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced. The recall includes: “Comfort Tote,” “Comfy Tote” and “Cushie Comfort” by Comfort Products; “Baby’s Cloud” by U.S. Mom’s of Las Vegas; “Sof-Sak” by MFP of Hays, Kan.; “Comfort Cushion” by Tailored Baby Inc., San Fernando; and “Baby Jacks Bean Bag” by Jumping-Jacks Shoes Inc., Monett, Mo. The pillows conform to the baby’s shape and could engulf a child placed face down on them, the CPSC said.
